GENERAL MACHINING
Eccles Foundry offers a manual machining facility as an adjunct to our foundry casting services. Lathe and milling services are offered and our maximum turning capacity is 500 mm.
We typically machine jobs that have been cast in the foundry for customers but will complete stand alone machining work. We often supply the service for customers seeking machining of smaller sized work and lower volumes where CNC machining maybe cost prohibitive.
The machining facilities also play a key role in the production of our own Eccles branded product range.

SHELL CORE MOULDING
Eccles foundry produces our own shell and solid cores from resin coated silica fired in a core making machine. Although predominantly for in-house work we do provide cores to customers.
PATTERN MAKING
We outsource pattern making work to selected pattern makers and will provide two or more quotes if required. We can co-ordinate the whole process on behalf of our customers to ensure they get timely service and value for money. Typically we will actively engage with the pattern maker regarding suitable methods and design.
PATTERN STORAGE
We hold a large number of patterns on site in custody for customers so the ordering process is as simple as sending through the details of the pattern, material and quantity without additional transport costs of sending patterns back and forth.
